Inclusive Design Analysis

Exploration of inclusive design within an existing office environment. Furniture placement and behavior mapping were sketched during an initial observation of the office space.
The existing office space was analyzed for inclusion of generational diversity, work style preferences, team dynamics, and accessibility.
Recommendations were established based on the analysis including re-configuring the space, establishing zones based on needs of the users for:
Active collaboration
Focused quiet spaces
Private supervisor offices
Meeting rooms
Recommendations were made for a wider variety of furniture with adjustable options.
To improve accessibility of the environment, Live Caption technology was recommended for all computer and TV monitors. Wider pathways and routes were established throughout the space.
